Discover Hawks Prairie
So, you’re looking for apartments near Hawks Prairie, but you’re not sure what there is to do to stay busy on the weekends? Lucky for you, there is plenty to keep you occupied, especially if your starting off point is at one of our apartments at Britton Place. Here, you’ll find some of our favorite places to visit in the neighborhood, all just minutes from your soon-to-be home.
Hawks Prairie Restaurant & Sports Bar
This is the place to be if you’re a sports aficionado and love watching with a crowd. Twelve flat-screen TVs cover the walls here and, to boot, you can choose between the more relaxed lounge area with plush couches or the private conference room with an executive table-and-chairs setup. Stop by during the week for dollar-off happy hour specials and half-priced appetizers. On the menu is all the deep-fried deliciousness you’d expect at any sports bar: nachos, loaded fries, buffalo wings, onion rings, and more.
Hawk’s Prairie Casino and Restaurant
Get a little taste of Vegas right in your backyard. Whether your game is blackjack, baccarat, Texas Hold ‘Em, or any of a slew of others, you can test your skills (and luck) while sipping on a libation or two. Gambling aside, the food here is top notch. No matter what you order, it’s all made from scratch, and the selection is wide-ranging. You can order up a plate of smoky baby back ribs, General Tsao’s–style potstickers, or a hearty plate of spaghetti and meatballs. (And that’s barely scratching the surface.)
Ram Restaurant & Brewery
If you’re in the mood for a stand-up burger, this is the place to go. Whatever your preference, you can find one on the menu that suits your tastes—even if you’re a vegetarian! At this locally based chain, you’ll find the Impossible Burger, a 100 percent plant-based burger that even the most devout of carnivores have said is indistinguishable from the real deal.
Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge
Just beyond all of these places is a sprawling nature reserve on which you can easily spend hours idling away the day, exploring one of the myriad nature trails while spotting wildlife—there are more than 200 species of birds alone here. Please note, this is not a park, so activities such as jogging, biking, and game playing are not allowed. You’ll also have to keep your canine pals at home. The refuge is intended to enjoy the local wildlife with as little disruption as possible.
As you can see, there’s plenty to eat, see, and do when your starting-off point is our apartments near Hawks Prairie. It’s just a matter of getting out there and exploring. Contact us today to make Britton Place your new home!
